About GodEyeView

GodEyeView is an independent public-data workspace for exploring the Earth through maps. It combines a few clearly named feeds with local places and saved views so that a location can be explored with its source and time in view.

A source desk for geographic questions

Use the map for spatial context, Flight for an aircraft identifier, Overhead for approximate nearby positions, Places for local saved locations and Events for recent natural events. The data-source guide explains where each view is useful and where its coverage ends.

The current product

The connected sources cover map-area aircraft and exact network identifier queries, USGS past-day earthquakes, NASA EONET open events, official US NWS alerts, cached LL2 launch schedules, the ISS, RainViewer radar, Open-Meteo weather and dated NASA GIBS imagery. Places, scenes, notes, likes and bookmarks are stored locally. No model-backed AI, paid plan, account synchronization or background notification service is connected.

Independent presentation

GodEyeView does not operate the aircraft receivers, satellites, weather instruments or agency feeds shown here. Provider names identify sources, not sponsorship, partnership or endorsement. Open the linked original record for provider context, corrections and current status.

How to judge a result

Check the provider, geographic coverage, event time and retrieval status together. Source failures, missing fields and cached records remain visible boundaries. The map supports exploration and general information; official aviation, weather and emergency channels remain the source for operational decisions.
